Data and Software Analyst

A leading research institute in Prague, Czechia, named after Nobel laureate in Chemistry  J. Heyrovský, is seeking a Data and Software Analyst for the Department of Biophysical Chemistry.

Job description

Evaluation of research data repositories and software tools depositing data in repositories. Data analytics, data quality control and assessment.

Required Qualifications

Experience with scientific equipment, scientific experimental workflows, integration and interpretation of scientific results;

Experience with research data management (full data life cycle), data processing, annotation and quality control;

Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs);

Knowledge of the EOSC initiative and data infrastructures (e.g. Czech National Data Infrastructure run by eINFRA);

Ability to work in an international team - English: C1 or equivalent;

PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field.

Preferred skills

Creative thinking, good organisational habits. Experience with communication with clients. Experience with Horizon Europe or equivalent projects, leadership skills (task or work package lead). Teamwork skills.
